How does Pay As You Drive (PAYD) work?

PAYD is a no contract option that frees you up to pay what you actually use. When you purchase a Hutch system for $299.99 USD/$349.99 CAD the device is loaded with the equivalent dollar value to be used over the next 12 months. It works the same as a prepaid credit card. As you log each use, the total is deducted from the preloaded amount. Once your amount is used up you can reload with a minimum of $30 USD that can be used over a 12 month period.

How much does it cost to run the ELD?

It costs 99 cents USD/$1.48 CAD per day. You monthly max should you run every day would be $29.70 USD/$54.40 CAD.

Days that the truck does not run, or is run for personal use will not be deducted from the preloaded total.

And Bonus! You can pay with either Canadian or American funds, making this a great choice no matter what side of the border your operations are at home.

Hutch is great as you can add on options if you need them. They are able to provide GPS Tracking, IFTA Fuel Tax, Check Engine Light Code for an additional charge of $10 USD/month.
