Trucking For a Cure is getting ready to make Ontario truck stops pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Trucking For a Cure’s 3rd annual truck convoy is scheduled to hit the road
Saturday October 13th 2012
Those wanting to take part or just view the dazzling pinked out trucks can hit the staging area at the 5th Wheel Truck Stop, Exit 199 Dorchester RD, Dorchester,ON. The trucks will begin to roll at 11:30 and travel to their final stop at the TA Travel Centre, Exit 230, Swenburg RD Woodstock ON. Afterwards there will be fun and activities for all to enjoy including a bbq, silent auction truck display and live music by Kerosene Creek.
Trucking For a Cure supports the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation-Ontario and is made up of Professional Men and Women in the Transportation Industry. They “not only raises awareness & funds for the CBCF we are also building bridges between commercial drivers, the industry, and the public at large, also unite trucking enthusiasts behind such a meaningful cause.” It is estimated that 23 400 women and 190 men in Canada will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
